Partner agreement

The terms every CrewByte partner accepts. Readable before you apply, not after.

1. What this covers

This is the agreement between CrewByte and you as a partner in our referral, implementation, reseller or strategic programme. It is version 2026-08. If we change it we will ask you to accept the new version before you carry on using the dashboard.

2. What you do

  • Introduce CrewByte to operators you believe it genuinely suits.
  • Describe it accurately. Do not promise features it does not have, and do not say it guarantees a food hygiene rating — nothing can.
  • Do not bid on our brand terms in paid search, or present yourself as CrewByte.
  • Do not send unsolicited bulk email on our behalf.

3. What we do

  • Give you a unique referral code and link, and track what it brings in.
  • Demo, onboard and support the customers you introduce.
  • Show you every commission line with the rate and the amount it came from.
  • Pay out within 30 days of an approved request.

4. Attribution

A prospect is attributed to you when they arrive through your link and then ask for access. Attribution lasts 90 days from the click, and once an enquiry is attributed it stays attributed even if the cookie is long gone.

If two partners could claim the same prospect, the first attributed enquiry wins. If a customer approaches us directly and later mentions you, we will attribute it to you where we can reasonably establish that — ask us rather than assuming.

5. Commission

  • Commission accrues when the customer pays us, not when they sign.
  • Your rate and duration are set by your tier, or by terms we have agreed with you specifically. Both are visible on your dashboard.
  • Tiers move on paying customers and promotion is automatic. We do not demote you if a customer later cancels.
  • If a customer cancels within 90 days of their first payment, accrued but unpaid commission for that customer is reversed. Anything already paid to you is yours.
  • We do not pay commission on customers who cancel in their first month.

6. Payouts

Request a payout once your approved balance is over your minimum. We process requests weekly and pay within 30 days. You are responsible for your own tax and, where applicable, for invoicing us correctly — commission is a fee for introductions, not employment.

7. Data

You will see the company name of the operators you refer and what stage they are at. You will not see their staff, their records, or the personal contact details of anyone inside their business. Their data is theirs and ours to protect, not ours to share.

8. Ending it

Either of us can end this at any time, in writing. If you leave, we pay any approved balance in the next payout run. If we end it because of clause 2 — misrepresenting the product, brand bidding, spam — we may withhold unpaid commission connected to that conduct, and we will tell you exactly why.

9. The boring but necessary part

Nothing here creates a partnership in the legal sense, an employment relationship or an agency. You cannot enter into contracts on our behalf. This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.

Plain English on purpose. If you need this reviewed by a solicitor before signing, that is a sensible thing to do and we are happy to wait.
